only band since the mid -1980's. Fred toured with James Brown for over thirty years and played bass on classic
James Brown's hit songs and was an original member of the JB's. Fred’s funky bass is on “The
Payback”, “Hot Pants”,
“Get On The Good Foot”, “Papa Don't Take No Mess” and “Make It Funky” just to
name a few.Fred's appeared with James Brown on television shows and feature films including: Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show
with Jay Leno, American Music Awards, BET Music Awards, “Rocky I4” and “The Tuxedo” starring: Jackie
Chan and Jennifer Love Hewitt. James Brown's Soul Generals live show covers James Brown and the JB's hit songs to keep the "Funk & Soul" legacy going strong with the help of Rich Callaway & True Talent Entertainment !
